THE TEAM

  • PAUL BURGER - FOUNDER

Paul Burger, founder and partner of Soho Artists, has decades of experience working in the music industry. He has fostered the careers of a very diverse span of artists on a global scale. Before starting Soho Artists in late 2003, Paul was President, Europe, Middle East, Africa at Sony Music, during which time the company enjoyed its best ever chart shares, and, some of its best years in terms of profit, in spite of the very significant challenges facing the industry. Prior to this, Paul was President Sony Music UK & Ireland and he also worked in Canada, Paris and Israel. Throughout his Sony career, Paul was instrumental to the enormous international success of artists such as Beyonce, Charlotte Church, Leonard Cohen, Des’ree, Celine Dion, Jamiroquai, Manic Street Preachers, George Michael, Toto, and The Fugees.

With Soho Artists, however, Paul was looking for something a bit more intimate, and a way to get back to working closely with a small group of artists that he really believes in. Paul’s buzz comes from helping artists break their music, either for the first time or well into their careers, but into new audience groups.

At Soho Artists, Paul has signed some of the most innovative World and Folk artists of the day including Yasmin Levy, Sam Lee, and Ilham al-Madfai.

Soho Artists also provides consulting services to a number of international music companies and artists.  In addition to sitting on a number of charitable boards, Paul served as Chair of Governors of the BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology from 2012-2018 during which time he oversaw the appointment of a new Principal and Senior Leadership Team, increased the School's student body by nearly half to 1300 , and oversaw the redevelopment of the entire curriculum as the School moved towards accreditation by University of the Arts London. He continues to serve as a Governor still working closely with the school and leadership team.

Paul was a Non-Executive Director from IPO at Hipgnosis Songs Fund Limited from 2018 through 2023. The fund launched on the London Stock Exchange in summer of 2018 and has to date raised in excess of £625 million. Hipgnosis specializes in purchasing music assets, especially publishing catalogues, and Paul served as Chair of the Fund’s Portfolio Committee.

In July 2018, Paul was elected as a Trustee of the BRIT Trust where he had previously served from 1993-2011, only standing down during the period he served as Chair of Governors at The BRIT School, which is one of the Trust's primary beneficiaries. The Trust supports numerous projects supporting youth music and education in the UK.

Paul was elected to the International Board of The New Israel Fund (NIF) in 2023, having been a Board member of NIF UK since 2015 where he is Chair of the Finance Committee. Paul was also appointed as Director of the Hofesh Shechter Company, one of the world’s leading modern and highly innovative dance companies in 2023.  He has previously served as a Board member of the London Jewish Cultural Centre (later merged into JW3) and is a past Chair of The Belsize Square Synagogue.

  • NATHALIE CADLINI - ARTIST RELATIONS manager

Passionate about music since the early age of 6, Nathalie has joined the behind-the-scenes of the music industry, being intrigued about how developing and established artists are managed.

Although most of her early career background comes from working in multiple projects in Finance and her own personal experience with music, her managerial and creative talent are easy to spot.

She has previously worked for Amy Thomson Management and DJ Snake and is now enjoying the challenges of helping develop World and Folk artists at Soho Artists.
